Doug Teti: Lead vocal, guitar, percussion

Vocalist Doug Teti is Professor of Human Development, Psychology, and Pediatrics and head of the Dept. of Human Development and Family Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. He conducts research on family processes relating to infant and early child development, with a special focus on parenting and infant-parent attachment. He teaches courses to graduate and undergraduate students on on parenting, family relationships, and children attachments to parents.

He began singing in rock groups as a teenager, with a group called Blessed End, and then with Ridge Road, but then left that behind to become an academic, first as a professor at the University of Maryland and now at Penn State. He began singing again 50 years later, with OverheaD.
